Fans are often surprised to learn how diverse his subject matter has been, ranging from creating Star Wars plates for the Hamilton Collection to Christian art for Dayspring. His extensive credits include projects for Anheuser-Busch, Lucas Film, Universal Studios, and the U.S. Postal Service. Since 1995 he has been acclaimed for creating Thomas Blackshear's Ebony Visions(TM) sculpture collection, capturing the beauty, elegance and emotions of African-American culture in a style he calls Afro-Nouveau.
